I am fully aware of the risks and dangers involved in this undertaking and personally assume all liability and responsibilities for any accident and/or injury by and to me as a result of my participation as a volunteer worker for the Hogeye Marathon and Relays (event). I am emotionally and medically able to participate as a volunteer for the event. I fully understand the need for healthy volunteers and the effects of the weather and the walking, standing or otherwise engaging in volunteer work at the event, including but not limited to preparing drinks or food for runners and directing human and vehicular traffic on roadways and trails on the Hogeye route, cycling ahead of lead runners.
I understand photographs and/or other digital media may be used to document the Hogeye events and release all parties to use my image for future online posts, ads etc.
Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application for participation as a volunteer at the event, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf waive and release all sponsors, participants, other volunteers and the event administrator, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and/or groups named in this waiver.
